When on the public highway, the roadworthiness of the vehicle and the drivers driving behaviour are his/her responsibility in law.

Storage

Storing of goods and vehicles away from the business location requires appropriate authorisation.

There may be a statutory requirement for competent stores personnel to handle certain materials and substances, such as pesticides.
